INFRASTRUCTURE

INSTALLATIONS

Happy Day is especially designed and equipped to be able to carry out all our activities safely and easily.
The playground has a rubber flooring that cushions falls. It’s also roofed and heated so that the children are still able to go outside and have physical exercise on cold or rainy days.
We have a sensory stimulation gym with a wide range of occupational therapy materials.
We have an open door policy to parents: our classrooms have doors with windows to be able to watch activities and also monitors for the same purpose.
There are air purifiers, fans, air conditioning and central heating to maintain a pleasant temperature and clean air indoors throughout the year.

SAFETY

We have a Comprehensive School Safety Plan (PISE, its Spanish acronym) and a Child Abuse and Maltreatment Detection Protocol.
We meet all of the Chilean Safety Association’s (ACHS) safety requirements: fire extinguishers, demarcated safety zones and an evacuation chute.
We permanently conduct training on first aid, RCP and the use of fire extinguishers.
Every month we carry out a PISE plan drill.
Our main entrance door has automatic locking and a timer.
We have closed-circuit security cameras in all areas of the garden.
The electricity system has differential switches.
Among our staff we have three doorkeepers that take care of the garden entrances and exits.
There is an alarm (directly connected to the Alarmatic switchboard and the Las Tranqueras police station) and an intercom in each classroom to quickly communicate with the main office.
All windows and mirrors are covered with safety films.
